What does CITO do?
CITO exists to provide a variety of services to its members with the common aim of enhancing the quality of service to their customers. These include:

Wholesale Services
CITO provides a variety of wholesale products from overnights to full 10-14 day UK or Continental Tours these packages are provided Ad-Hoc, via email offers and also presented as part of the members meetings.

Fred Olsen Cruises
CITO works in partnership with Fred Olsen Cruise Lines. Through CITO, members can request net rates on any of their sailings (subject to availability).

Air and Cruise Holidays
CITO Ltd holds an ATOL licence which is used to provide a series of air and cruise holidays within Europe and also to long haul destinations. Members are able to sell these holidays to their local clients – a facility they could not offer within their own resources. Most of these holidays are included in a free customised CITO brochure which is branded with the identity of each member for distribution in their own pick-up areas. The Air and Cruise brochure is supported by product training from CITO for each member company.

CITO has arranged a Passenger Travel Insurance scheme in conjunction with Travel & General Insurance Services Limited. The majority of members offer this scheme to their individual customers. In addition CITO has a Crisis Management policy which is available to assist any member involved in a major incident when operating outside the UK.

Ferry Bookings
CITO is an agent of all major ferry companies and the volume of transactions enables the company to achieve beneficial rates and pass on these benefits to members.

Competitive Admission Rates
CITO work closely with Merlin Entertainments and we have negotiated competitive rates for our members to many attractions including Legoland, London Eye, Warwick Castle, Blackpool Tower and many more.

Regular Meetings
Members meetings are held three times a year. These offer the opportunity to be appraised of new CITO product, listen to industry speakers and discuss matters of common interest. An invaluable exchange of product information is an essential and long established feature of these important meetings.
